  • Divergent thinking

    Divergent thinking is the process where a multiple answers are invented to one set question. Where finding the best solution of the problem is tried out by the variety and the diversity, the opposite way of thinking is the  Convergent way.

  • Entrepreneurship

    Entrepreneurship is a broad term where the entrepreneur could be described as an enterprising person, often also mentioned as a funder of a business. The Entrepreneurship is the ability to identify possibilities and create resources out of this to take advantages of the moment. It is often connected to working life, and the innovation and further development of businesses.

  • Facilitator

    A facilitator is a role where someone helps a group to understand their goals and objectives together and assists them in this without taking a particular position in the group. E.g. in the event that a consensus cannot be reached then the facilitator would assist the group in understanding the differences that divide it.

  • Feedback

    Feedback is a process where one person gets to know the effects of this persons acting or output, in order to change the behavior or the output. Its used both in technical and also artistic fields, but also within group dynamics.

  • Flow

    Flow is the mental state of operation in which a person in an activity is fully immersed in a feeling of energized focus, full involvement, and success in the process of the activity. The hallmark of flow is a feeling of spontaneous joy, even rapture, while performing a task. Flow is also described as a deep focus on nothing but the activity – beyond oneself or one’s emotions.

  • Focus questions

    Focus questions are questions to ask in order to ease a work task, e.g. an ideation process. The questions are few, preferable 3-5. Whats your previous experience from the subject? Could for example be a Focus question in an ideation process.

  • Group dynamics

    Group dynamics is a system of behaviors and psychological processes occurring within a social group or between social groups. The social group is an entity that has qualities that cannot be understood by only studying the individuals in the group. Group dynamics as a system has roots in both psychology and sociology, and can be helpful in studying group decision making and how the group works together.

  • Groupthink

    Groupthink is a psychological phenomena that takes place when a decision making group prioritizes the minimizing of conflicts instead of taking a realistic appraisal of alternatives. The group members strive for a consensus without critical evaluations or alternative view points.

  • Heuristic

    Collective name for science with experienced based techniques, where strategies based on logic and sometimes earlier experiences is used to check in on a problem solving process. Examples of Heuristic techniques are trial and error, a rule of thumb, common sense.

    Ideation or idea generation is the process when a idea is generated, realized and communicated. Its an essential part of the design process.
